Shree Babasaheb Gharfalkar College of Pharmacy, Nachangaon, Pulgaon started in 2006 as an self-financing Institution by Sudam Shikshan Prasarak Mandal,Babhulgaon, Yavatmal. Our Institute is recognized by Maharashtra Government, approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai & is Affiliated to M.S.B.T.E., Mumbai.
This Institute was started with a view to provide quality technical Education at affordable cost to uplift the students from backward class and rural areas. College is situated near Super Express Highway at Pulgaon, a place which is located in Vidarbha region in Eastern part of Maharashtra. The vision of SBGCP is to be the centre of excellence in the field of education and research. We plan to achieve this by mentoring our students so that they overcome challenges in the health care industry with knowledge, skills, courage, confidence and integrity.
We are striving hard for academic excellence. We have a team of dedicated, competent and experienced faculty members who not only educate our student but also take personal care of them as human being through “Student mentoring cell”. Our teachers would be aiming at shaping out students and building a burning desire to learn in them.
One of our important goals is to provide the best possible opportunities for the industrial exposure. We are achieving this objective by inviting renowned professionals from the industry for guest lectures, arranging for the factory visits, offering in plant training to our students after D. Pharmacy and conducting industry sponsored seminars or projects.Our first batch has pass out in July 2008 with flying colors. Our Student have continued their tradition of success and brought laurels to the college every year.
Our endeavor is to provide a strong research base to our students. SBGCP would be grooming our students to be a true professional with high ethics and strong character. We believe cultural development is important part of education. Our college has done wonders over preceding years in a various extracurricular and co-curricular events by receiving many awards at national and state level competitions. A team of SBGCP is committed to the goal of imparting quality education & building character of students. With the highly professional environment provided by the management & sincere efforts of the staff of SBGCP, we are aiming to be one of the leading Pharmacy College in the days to come.

Our first batch has pass out in July 2008 with flying colors. Our Student have continued their tradition of success and brought laurels to the college by securing 76% & 65% result in D. Pharm final & first year respectively in summer 2023.

Secretary
In Education there are only commas and no stop. This is an era of Knowledge and Information and thus for the same Sudam Shikshan Prasarak Mandal decided to contribute to the building of the nation by imparting quality Education to the masses.
A Pharmacy course is one of them which are useful in the self employment of Youths. I am extremely happy as my dream of starting pharmacy college has been fulfilled. We believe in Quality Education and I am confident that students who would come out of this college after completion of their course will serve the nation in ‘Health Care’ in the excellent manner.
Joint Secretary
While pursuing studies in Engineering I have developed liking towards Technical Education and I Felt that students are in need of Quality Education with a practical approach. Hence through Sudam Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Projects we tried to touch this thirst aid area and started Pharmacy College from the academic session 2006-07.
I have no doubts in mind about the progress of the college. We all are working together and waiting for the day when the college will be one of the renowned college in the Vidarbha region.
Principal
The pleasure and joy is solely mine in being the Principal of Shree Babasaheb Gharfalkar College of Pharmacy, Pulgaon. As we know products which are more potent, economic and less toxic can only survive in the current market, whether Pharmaceuticals or Pharmacists. Hence the place from which they originate is vital. As a Pharmacist, I believe in efficiency more than a mere proficiency. To stay on top of this profession, one needs high quality, standard and reliability. Our College has been rendering such a dedicated service for the past 9 years to shape up the young Pharmacists to face the forthcoming challenges in Health care. This website is the perfect reflection of those expressions.

Being this, our debutant effort, along with hard work and sincerity from all possible sides has been coupled in order to feed the needs of younger mind. My sincere thanks to the Management for their sincere co-operation and guidance. I also thank my faculty and all the students in lending their helping hand for the success of our College.
